If you've never played: two boxes, twenty-one feet apart, three washers a turn. It takes a minute to learn and a lifetime of Sunday afternoons to master.

Ruby's Washer Toss Classic has a date. Twenty-four teams, six lanes, cash prizes, and a banner with room for fifty years of names. The interest list is open now; founding teams get first call when registration opens in spring.
